Course description:
The textile material properties influence the fit and appearance of clothing products. This also applies to the 3D simulation of clothing. The textile-physical material properties determine the fall behaviour of the textile in the simulation. For this reason, checking the material parameters and entering the data into the systems is of fundamental importance for the simulation result. The current challenge for the individual user is that there are currently no standards for the digitisation of material parameters. The workshop presents important basics on this topic and shows possible solutions.
Target group:
Employees from all areas who work with or are confronted with 3D simulation of clothing. The workshop is oriented towards the user, but it also offers interesting insights for newcomers who are confronted with questions about the implementation of a 3D system.
